1) Sadness or emptiness felt after a convention and saying goodbyes to friends you met during the 3 days and knowing that you would not see them until the next con due to long distance. 2) Sadness you feel knowing that Monday, you go back to the world of 9a-5p jobs, dealing with bills, the generic survival needs, etc. and dreading why the next con is just so far away.
Sidenote: Post-con blues is a backlash of a great convention experience.
-----
Post-con blues have hit me earlier this time around than any other conventions. Usually hitting me at the beginning of the 3rd day, this time it hit me by the middle of the 2nd day. Not that this was a bad convention experience, heck, this was by far, the best convention experience I have ever had. I'm just sad that this is the last convention for the remaining of the year.
Counting from all the great artists and writers that I have met, I also have gain positive feedback and support for my work. Along with it, I have gain back my confidence in my artworks and I will no long hide behind the smile to covers my nervousness. I will give a smile filled with confidence but definitely NOT obnoxiousness. I humbly say THANK YOU for all for the encouragements and I will work hard to not let any of you down. (You know who you are! ^.^)
Sending lots of love~
